Breakfast and Lunch Information

Peoria Unified’s Food & Nutrition Department is proud to continue offering food options for families, just as they would during a regular school year.  Breakfast and lunch will be served through drive-thru or walk-up service from 11:15 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 5 through Friday, Aug. 7 at all school sites.  Parents will be able to pick up meals for their children without the child/student with them, but they will need to provide the student’s name and ID number at the time they drive or walk to pick up food.  Meals will be charged according to their child’s free, reduced, or paid status:

• Breakfast: Paid $1.50, Reduced $0.30, Free $0.00
• Lunch: Paid $2.50, Reduced $0.40, Free $0.00

The week of August 10, meals will begin being delivered to neighborhoods of our schools for those that would like meals. Additional details about the meal delivery service are available on our district’s website. 

This Saturday, Aug. 1, families will receive an email with information that needs to be submitted to our Food & Nutrition team so they can arrange for weekly meals. In addition, the message will include free and reduced lunch applications for families to complete if you are in need.  We strongly encourage parents to apply even if they have not previously qualified.
